About Me — Your Online Urdu Classes Teacher
As-salamu Alaykum, my name is Naveed-ur-Rehman, and I run one of the most established online Urdu classes taught by a single, dedicated native speaker. I've spent the last 34 years teaching Urdu to students of every background, right here in Lahore — the true home of the language.
My Story
I didn't start out planning to teach online. For most of my career, I taught Urdu face-to-face here in Lahore, working closely with expats, diplomats, researchers, and families who wanted to genuinely understand Pakistan through its language. Over the years, word spread, and I began teaching students from across the world through video call — and that's how my online Urdu classes came to be.
Today, I teach students from many different countries, at every level, from absolute beginners who don't know a single word, to advanced learners polishing their grammar and conversation. What hasn't changed in 34 years is my belief that every student deserves a class built around them, not a one-size-fits-all textbook.
